< back to meet the staff

Belinda is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia, providing communication support for children and families through her business New Leaf Speech Pathology. Belinda has served families of the Central Coast for many years in community service roles including disability, early childhood education, aged care, palliative care, and mental health support, and completed her honours degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Newcastle.

Belinda created New Leaf Speech Pathology to offer inclusive, empowering, non-judgmental, and highly-personalised therapeutic support to local families. Services include assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatments for a range of communication needs, including stuttering and dysfluency, speech and language concerns, social skills development, emotional understanding and regulation, literacy, and neurodiversity education and advocacy. Belinda is proud to offer support as a person with lived experience of neurodiversity, being herself a person with ADHD, and this informs her practice as a therapist in all her offered services.
