Registered Psychologist

Catherine Omni is an experienced, neuro-affirming, and strengths based clinician. She sees clients for both therapy and assessments and has close to 20 years experience in both assessments and therapy particularly in the area of neurodivergence with a focus on Autism, Dyslexia and Intellectual Impairment. Having run her own multi-site clinic and with a background in HR, Catherine is akin to the challenges that come with leadership and management roles. Furthermore, Catherine has lived experience in parenting children with neurodivergence and of having a late diagnosis herself, can appreciate the niche difficulties that come with neurodivergent relationships and families. Working with the Tasmanian Health Service recently, Catherine has training in offender risk assessments and has found a strong interest in this area towards minimising recidivism rates and reoffending. Catherine is trained to facilitate programs such as Cool Kids (anxiety), 123 Magic (Parenting), and Frameworks for Change (addiction). She is a certified Neurofeedback Clinician and Medicare Perinatal Counsellor. Catherine’s passion is for helping people make sense of what is happening, and to learn ways on how to work with it and feel empowered to know what to do, towards a better quality of life in a real way.
